Your Algorithm is A Digital Church

Your algorithm is a digital church. It decides who belongs and who is condemned. Identity politics and sincerity culture have transformed ancestral in-group and out-group psychology into a moralized framework of belonging and exclusion, entrenched and widened by confirmation bias and affective polarization; embedded within digital infrastructure rather than projected onto an afterlife, with greater real-world consequence. I am not exempt from this. I have perpetuated this polarization and remain susceptible to it.
